“Mr. Big”  Collar - No Choke and No Pull

Description: The “Mr. Big” Collar is a custom made 2 inch wide secure and soft nylon collar that comes in engths from 18"-28". It can be custom ordered in any length.

Indications for use: Replaces the old style thin collars that can break or have the plastic attachments let loose. They can be used to increase safety in veterinary hospitals and usually eliminate all “choking” as the dog pulls – dogs often pull very hard on these thin collars that apply much pressure to a very small area of their neck/tracheal area.

Problems associated with standard nylon parachute snap or other nylon buckle collars that can be solved with the :Mr. Big” Collar:

1. Mildly to very uncomfortable and cause coughing, gagging and choking in dogs that pull or have partially collapsing tracheas.
2. Do not reduce the pulling ability of the dog in most cases.
3. Cannot be used to control the dog when held by the handler or veterinary staff to increase safety from a dog turning its head to reach the handler’s hand.

Advantages of the “Mr. Big”  Collar:

1. Comfortable no matter what size of the dog – can be used on dogs from ~ 20 lb to >170 lb! It stops coughing, gagging and choking in most dogs, even dogs with partially collapsing tracheas.
2. The width of this product is much more comfortable for the dog and reduces pulling power by dispersing the force over a much wider area! It has been shown to reduce pull force markedly.
3. Can be used to control the dog when held by the handler or veterinary staff to increase safety from a dog’s turning its head to reach the handler’s hand depending on the size of the dog and skill of the handler.
