Reduce Fear, Anxiety and Stress when handling dogs! When there is a need to handle a dog to increase control and safety while reducing the risk to staff, please consider this specially designed system. The restraint is easy to use and can be combined for greater control by use with a “Mr. Big” collar to secure the dog to reduce pressure on the dog’s neck.
Description: The restraint system is an aluminum tie track that is 36” long that is bolted into a secure area of the wall. This track comes with a sliding ring that can be moved along the track to attach to any size of dog. A leash attached to the dog's collar is pulled and secured on the ring or held to control the dog and reduce FAS. Only gentle pressure is needed to pull the leash through the ring move the dog's head near the wall. This restricts the dog’s ability to move, and most dogs do not resist handling if not held in a "body hug restraint" by a stranger! One technician can restrain the animal by gentle pressure on the dog’s body while a 2nd technician, veterinarian, or groomer handles the dog.
Indications for use: Dogs that are unruly, or potentially pose a safety risk of biting the handlers. This system can be used for brief medical or grooming procedures, nail trims, vaccinations, and exams to limit FAS for the dog and increases safety and animal cooperation.
